25th Anniversary Celebrations for Les Misérables

On Sunday 3rd October, a star-studded throng of Les Misérables veterans gathered in the O2 Arena to celebrate 25 years of Les Misérables on stage.

High Society staff greeted guests and performers such as Connie Fischer, Michael Ball, Sir Ian McCellan, Christopher Biggins, The Jonas Brothers, Matt Lucas, Graham Norton and Gareth Gates, and served up a selection of Tuscan canapés and champagne.

Theatrical history unfolded as three different productions of the show were performed in London simultaneously. Whilst Cameron Mackintosh presented a critically-acclaimed brand new anniversary production of the legendary musical at The Barbican Theatre, The Queen’s Theatre showed The Original Production. Meanwhile, the monumental O2 concert hosted a cast of over 300 actors and musicians, including members of the original 1985 London cast. The O2 concert was broadcast live via satellite to cinemas across the globe, enabling audiences the world over to enjoy live screenings of the world’s longest running musical.

It was a real thrill for High Society to be involved in this landmark occasion.
