As the relentless flurry of December snow transformed Britain into a perilous ice rink, transport in London ground to a halt. With less than 5 hours notice, High Society staff trudged through the snow on 20th and 21st December to comfort the shivering queues of helpless travellers stranded at the Eurostar Terminal in Kings Cross St Pancras with a hot beverage. This was a small gesture for those who perhaps did not make it home for Christmas, but we hope that our friendly faces amid the chaos added a spot of festive cheer to the wait.
